My first contact with Manjit Sangara was in 2010, when CH Sindelar’s Touch Of Sangara was imported to Sweden and later sold to Jonna Tuominen, Golden Ferya Kennel. Some time later, Manjit bred his bitch CH Sindelar’s Soul Of Orionto to CH R-U Popeye. Among the puppies from this combination was Sindelar’s Lively Up Yourself “Roller”.

For months I followed his development through photos, watching him grow up with Manjit and his family.

Roller was later sold to a friend of Manjit’s, but when the friend could no longer keep him, I saw my chance. I had often expressed my interest in him, and eventually Manjit agreed to let me have him. Due to family circumstances, we decided not to rush his import to Sweden.

Once Roller turned a year old, his health testing was completed, with hip and elbow x-rays evaluated by the Swedish Kennel Club. With the results approved, his journey could begin. On March 7th, 2014, after a 16-hour transport from Canada, Roller finally arrived in Sweden.

As a responsible breeder, I chose not to make Roller generally available at stud. Most requests were declined unless they aligned with our own vision for the breed.

To this day, Roller has sired only one registered litter, bred by Old Parry’s Kennel. From that litter comes Old Parry’s Mighty Thunderstorm, available to approved breeders via frozen semen.
