We’re excited to announce a very special planned breeding for 2026 here at Cromulent Kennel. Our lovely and confident girl Luna (Old Parry’s True Pecan Lady) will be the cornerstone of this combination, which we believe will offer the perfect blend of temperament, structure, and drive.

Luna was imported from France in the summer of 2022 and is our second female from breeder Cynthia Schmitt of Old Parry’s Kennel. She represents two generations of artificial insemination and carries strong old German lines known for health, stability, and correct type, as well as proven to be successful within obedience  — several IPO-titled dogs in her pedigree. 

Luna’s personality shines both in and out of the home:

• A bright, social, and caring female who thrives on connection and loyalty — especially toward her two-legged little sister.

• Protective of her family and home, always aware of her surroundings without being reactive.

• Outdoors she is full of energy, loves to swim and play with other dogs, while indoors she is calm, balanced, and affectionate.

The Breeding Goal

This combination continues our long-term vision for the American Staffordshire Terrier — preserving the essence of the breed while refining key traits. Our focus is to:

• Strengthen a stable, confident mentality with the right balance of drive and composure.

• Maintain sound health and solid construction in both movement and type.

• Produce dogs suitable as family companions or working partners, with the potential to pursue obediance titles.

About the Sire

The sire for this litter has been carefully selected to complement Luna in both structure and temperament. This breeding will be done using frozen semen, allowing us to preserve valuable genetics while ensuring the best possible pairing for our program. His name and lineage will be shared once pregnancy has been confirmed — but we can already say that this is a combination we have looked forward to for a very long time.
