Health Results for Old Parry’s True Pecan Lady “Luna”

On September 19th, we had an appointment at Partille Djurklinik for Luna’s official hip and elbow screening. This morning, the results from the Swedish Kennel Club (SKK) arrived — and what a fantastic way to start the weekend!

We couldn’t be happier with her results.

Next Steps in Health Testing

With these results in hand, we will continue with Luna’s planned health program:

• Cardiac examination

• Thyroid test

• Ataxia (she is already genetically Ataxia Clear by parentage)

• Mental description scheduled for fall 2026

Breeding Plans 2026

Given today’s results, we are excited to move forward with our breeding plans. Luna is expected to come into heat in spring 2026, and our goal is to breed her in April/May 2026.

The male we have in mind is a standard-sized, fully health-tested, proven producer, carefully selected to complement Luna in both type and temperament.
