Counting Down the Days: Bringing Nimra Home to Sweden
The flights are booked
20–23 February is officially marked in the calendar, and with it comes a moment I’ve been dreaming about for a long time: bringing Nimra home to Sweden.
This trip is about so much more than logistics. It’s about beginnings, gratitude, and connection. I’m incredibly excited to finally meet Leftis and his family at Ruffian Joannidis Kennel—the people behind the dogs, the philosophy, and the care that shaped Nimra long before she ever became “mine.”
I’ll have the chance to meet Leftis’ dogs in person and, most importantly, to spend time with Nimra’s mother. There’s something profoundly grounding about seeing where it all began—watching temperament, structure, and presence up close, and understanding the lineage not just on paper, but in real life.
These moments matter. They remind me why thoughtful breeding, shared values, and mutual respect are at the heart of everything we do. I’m deeply thankful for the warmth and openness of the Joannidis family, and for the opportunity to learn, connect, and carry this journey forward with integrity.
Soon, Nimra will be home.
And a new chapter for Cromulent Kennel begins.
